Sales Operations Administrator

The Sales Operations team is responsible for supporting and developing a shared customer base of approximately 320 customers, while providing operational and commercial support to the wider Sales team. The team plays a key role in managing customer renewals, identifying growth opportunities, maintaining accurate account data, and ensuring a consistently high standard of service across the customer lifecycle.
As a Sales Operations Executive, you will act as a key point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders, balancing excellent customer service with a strong commercial mindset. You will support revenue retention and growth through proactive renewal management, account maintenance, quoting activities, and customer engagement, while helping to drive operational efficiency and process improvement initiatives.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage a shared customer portfolio, delivering excellent customer service, account management, and commercial support.
- Manage customer renewals through proactive engagement, ensuring customers realise value from their services whilst maximising retention, minimising churn, and identifying growth opportunities.
- Own the end-to-end quoting process, working closely with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to obtain pricing, prepare quotations, manage order progression, and ensure a seamless customer experience from enquiry to order placement.
- Support Account Managers with renewals, customer requests, commercial administration, and sales opportunities across managed accounts.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, acting as a trusted point of contact and ensuring a consistently high standard of communication and customer satisfaction.
- Act as a key liaison between customers and internal teams, taking ownership of queries and issues through to resolution and ensuring stakeholders are kept informed throughout.
- Monitor shared work queues and customer requests to ensure service levels are achieved and customer expectations are met.
- Identify and escalate customer, commercial, or operational risks where appropriate.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, helping to simplify processes, enhance the customer experience, improve operational efficiency, and support the business in focusing on higher-value growth opportunities.
What We’re Looking For:
- At least 1 years’ experience in an Account Management, Sales Support, Sales Operations, Customer Service, or similar customer-facing commercial role.
- Commercially aware, with experience working in a sales, renewals, or customer-focused environment and the ability to identify opportunities to support customer retention and revenue growth.
- Experience working within a technology, telecommunications, managed services, or B2B environment would be advantageous.
- Highly organised, proactive, and self-motivated team player, able to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment.
Highly Desirable:
- MS 900 – Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (desirable)
- AZ 900 – Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (desirable)
- Sales qualification(s) would be advantageous but not essentialAI-900
