“Are you ready to transform Data into Intelligence?”

As a Data Scientist within the Microsoft Data & AI practice, you will be at the forefront of delivering impactful AI and Machine Learning solutions using the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.

You will design, develop, and deploy intelligent systems that empower clients to extract meaningful insights, automate processes, and achieve competitive advantage through AI innovation.

What You’ll Do:

  • AI & ML Development – Build and deploy machine learning models using Azure ML, Python, and Databricks. Develop solutions for NLP, computer vision, predictive analytics, and recommendation systems.
  • Solution Architecture – Design scalable, secure AI solutions using Azure Data Lake, Microsoft Fabric, and Databricks. Align AI strategies with business goals and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Data Engineering & Preparation – Cleanse, transform, and analyze large datasets to ensure high model performance. Perform feature engineering and exploratory data analysis (EDA).
  • MLOps & Deployment – Implement CI/CD pipelines for ML models, ensuring reliable production deployments. Monitor model performance and integrate AI solutions with enterprise systems.
  • Stakeholder Engagement – Translate complex analytics into actionable business insights. Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to drive AI adoption.
  • Innovation & Leadership – Stay ahead of AI advancements within the Microsoft ecosystem. Mentor team members, contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives, and lead data science projects to successful delivery.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Technical Expertise
  • 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in data science, machine learning, or AI solution development.
  • Proficient in using technologies within Microsoft Azure relating to Data & AI.
  • Strong experience in Python for data science (Pandas, Scikit-learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow, etc.).
  • Knowledge of responsible AI practices, data ethics, and model interpretability tools.
  • Experience with MLOps tools and Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions for ML model lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with Power BI for visualizing and communicating insights.
  • Proven track record of delivering AI/ML solutions in a business context using Microsoft tools.

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data solutions using Microsoft Azure’s ecosystem—including Azure Synapse Analytics, Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric—to deliver innovative solutions across various projects.

You will empower our clients to harness their data, drive decision-making, and achieve their business goals.

What You’ll Do:

  • Solution Design & Development: Architect and implement scalable, high-performance data solutions using Microsoft Azure technologies, adhering to best practices for robust delivery. Design and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines, optimize storage solutions, and document technical workflows
  • Data Management & Integration: Integrate structured and unstructured data, develop efficient data models for analytics and reporting, and ensure security, compliance, and data quality.
  • Collaboration & Client Engagement: Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver tailored solutions. Provide expert guidance to clients on data engineering best practices.
  • Performance Optimization: Enhance query performance and storage efficiency across large-scale datasets. Implement monitoring and alerting mechanisms to maintain high availability.
  • Leadership & Mentorship: Offer technical leadership, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to internal knowledge-sharing initiatives. Lead data projects, ensuring quality delivery within timelines and budgets.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field, delivering solutions across industries.
  • Extensive experience with Azure Synapse Analytics, Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric.
  • Proficiency in developing ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, warehousing, and architecture best practices.
  • Expertise in programming languages such as Python and SQL.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and data governance with Microsoft Purview.
  • Experience implementing unit tests and optimizing Azure resource utilization for cost-effective analytics.
  • Ability to design and develop Lakehouse solutions using medallion architecture principles.
  • Skilled in building fault-tolerant data pipelines for seamless data processing and system resilience.
  • Proven ability to work with large datasets and complex integration requirements.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
  • Relevant Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Data Engineer Associate) are highly desirable.

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with a solid technical background in Cloud & Data managed services, a passion for learning and self-development, and a proactive approach to problem-solving to join our dynamic team.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing our customers’ cloud-based enterprise data platforms, working closely with customers, support teams, and subject matter experts to ensure the efficient, reliable, and secure operation of high-quality data platforms.

What You’ll Do:

  • Maintain efficient data pipelines from diverse internal and external sources, ensuring high quality and governance.
  • Maintain and optimize ingestion, transformation, translation, cleansing, and publishing processes.
  • Optimize performance by monitoring and enhancing pipeline scalability, cost, and efficiency.
  • Utilize observability tools to proactively identify issues.
  • Manage the transition and onboarding of in-house or customer-developed data platforms into managed services.
  • Collaborate with teams both internally and externally to ensure seamless onboarding, operation, and enhancements to deployed data solutions.
  • Advise and guide customers on data management, security, and data governance.
  • Demonstrate a passion for learning and innovation in data, stay updated with big data trends and best practices to continuously innovate.
  • Play an active role in the ongoing development of Cloud Direct’s Data Managed Services portfolio.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3+ years as a Data Engineer or similar role.
  • Experience with Azure Data Bricks, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Synapse, Azure Event Hubs, Fabric & Purview.
  • Proficient in implementing and maintaining data pipelines with Azure Data Factory.
  • In-depth knowledge of Data Lake/Medallion Architecture.
  • Skilled in data modelling and ETL.
  • Supporting a Lamba architecture including both batch and real-time data streams.
  • Processing structured, semi-structured and unstructured data.
  • Knowledge of the Azure security model, including RBAC, Key Vault and Managed Identities.
  • Understanding of Cost management and optimisation of Azure resources.
  • Basic networking, including integration runtime, data gateway, and VNet data gateway.
  • Knowledge of data partitioning and optimisation techniques.
  • Experience in source code control using Azure DevOps and Git.
  • Interpreting telemetry and metrics using tools such as Azure Monitor and Azure Advisor.
