We are on the lookout for a proactive and detail-oriented Resourcing Manager to support our project delivery functions. This role is pivotal in ensuring the right resources are assigned to the right projects at the right time.

You will work closely with Project Managers, Delivery teams, and third-party vendors to manage resource allocation, maintain system hygiene, and provide critical reporting to leadership.

What You’ll Do:

Resource Management 

  • Liaise with Project Managers, Practice Leads, and key business stakeholders to understand and forecast resource requirements. 
  • Allocate and book resources within resource management tools based on project needs and availability. 
  • Communicate resource assignments and changes back to requestors in a timely manner. 
  • Maintain up-to-date records of resource schedules and availability. 
  • Work to achieve expected utilisation targets for managed resources. 
  • Ensure all Practice area and business commitments are factored into the resourcing planning (including training, internal projects, and leave requests). 
  • Serves as the first line contact for all resourcing issues within the professional services team. 
  • Conduct required ceremonies, such as sprint loading, daily stand ups, and sprint retrospectives. 

Tooling Coordination 

  • Ensure resource management tools and systems are kept clean, organized, and up to date. 
  • Monitor and maintain tooling hygiene, including user access, project tagging, and data consistency. 

Reporting & Analytics 

  • Generate and distribute regular reports on:  
  • Timesheet submissions and compliance 
  • Resource utilization and availability 
  • Forecast vs. actual resource usage 
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve resource efficiency. 
  • Maintain skills matrix in delivery areas. 

Vendor & Third-Party Interaction 

  • Engage with third-party vendors to source additional resources as needed. 
  • Obtain and manage quotations for external resources. 
  • Maintain an up-to-date database of vendor rates and terms. 

Stakeholder Communication 

  • Act as the central point of contact for all resource coordination queries. 
  • Provide regular updates and reports to the Head of Consulting. 
  • Flag utilisation gaps with delivery teams. 
  • Support internal reviews related to resource planning and utilization. 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in resource coordination, project support, or operations within a Professional Services environment. 
  • Strong understanding of Azure DevOps. 
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. 
  • Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and resource management platforms. 
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

We’re on the lookout for a Data Engineer, to join our Business Systems team in Cape Town. Within the Business Systems Team the Data Engineer’s role is to tackle creative, complex, and technically challenging projects for a range of business systems and stakeholders.

Working closely with other developers, you will assist in the design and delivery of fully functional modules and application enhancements in an agile environment. You should have a deep knowledge of implementing scalable data solutions as the role will concentrate on ensuring Cloud Direct’s data is ready for analytics and AI.

What You’ll Do:

  • Act as the team’s go-to expert for data engineering and analytics solutions. 
  • Work with product and business stakeholders to translate reporting and AI integration requirements into technical solutions. 
  • Develop and manage data warehouse solutions, ensuring data is cleansed, normalised, and structured for analytics and AI. 
  • Write high-quality, well-documented T-SQL, KQL, and Python code for transformations, validations, and orchestration.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role 
  • Strong experience with Azure-based data services, particularly Microsoft Fabric, Data Factory, Power BI, and Data Lakes 
  • Proficient in T-SQL, KQL, and Python for data processing and scripting 
  • Experience with Databricks, Delta Lake, or Apache Spark technologies

  • Knowledge of the Azure security model, including RBAC, Key Vault and Managed Identities.
  • Understanding of Cost management and optimisation of Azure resources.
  • Basic networking, including integration runtime, data gateway, and VNet data gateway.
  • Knowledge of data partitioning and optimisation techniques.
  • Experience in source code control using Azure DevOps and Git.
  • Interpreting telemetry and metrics using tools such as Azure Monitor and Azure Advisor.
