Senior Security Operations Engineer

As a Senior Security Operations Engineer, you’ll act as a key technical lead, collaborating across cybersecurity, infrastructure, and operations teams to address security issues. You will focus on Infrastructure Security, Identity & Access Management, Cloud Security, and Network Security, ensuring systems are secure, up-to-date, and protected from threats.

As a trusted advisor, you will build key relationships with customers, providing expert guidance to meet their unique security needs. Additionally, you’ll mentor junior engineers and contribute to the growth of our security operations.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide technical support and escalate security issues as needed.
• Monitor systems for vulnerabilities and performance irregularities.
• Investigate and resolve security incidents across customer and company systems.
• Maintain and enhance security tools, processes, and documentation.
• Develop runbooks, playbooks, and custom integrations to counter emerging threats.
• Mentor junior engineers and help build a knowledgeable, high-performing team.

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Relevant certifications (SC200, SC300, AZ500, etc.).
• Experience with Microsoft Security tools (Sentinel, Defender, Defender for Cloud).
• Familiarity with vulnerability management tools (Qualys, Tenable, Nessus, etc.).
• Expertise in network security, threat detection, and incident response.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-centric mindset.
• Ability to mentor and guide other engineers in security operations.
• Knowledge of Azure, firewalls, networking, and endpoint security.
• Experience with ServiceNow and ITIL frameworks.
• ITIL Foundation and advanced cybersecurity certifications are a plus.
