The Pre‑Sales Architect role exists to provide technical leadership and solution design expertise for AI‑led customer engagements across the Microsoft stack. The role focuses on helping customers realise value from AI technologies including Microsoft Copilot, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Services, Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform, and associated security and governance capabilities. 

The role acts as a trusted technical advisor to customers, partnering closely with sales to translate business challenges into secure, scalable, and commercially viable AI solutions, while ensuring alignment with Cloud Direct capabilities, Microsoft best practices, and responsible AI principles. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Partner with Sales Executives and Account Directors to qualify, shape and progress AI-focussed opportunities through the sales lifecycle. 
  • Lead the technical design and architecture of AI solutions using Microsoft technologies including Copilot, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Services, Fabric, and Power Platform. 
  • Translate customer business problems into practical AI use cases with clear value propositions and measurable outcomes. 
  • Ensure AI solutions are designed with appropriate security, data governance, compliance, and responsible AI considerations. 
  • Act as the technical authority in customer meetings, workshops, and presentations, articulating AI concepts to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders. 
  • Lead the creation, iteration and completion of Statements of Work. 
  • Collaborate closely with delivery teams to ensure smooth transition from sale to implementation. 
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers and internal stakeholders. 
  • Contribute to the development of Cloud Direct’s AI propositions, reference architectures, and technical messaging. 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a presales, solutions architect, or technical consultancy role within technology or cloud services.  
  • Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft AI capabilities, including Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Services, Microsoft Copilot, Fabric, and Power Platform. 
  • Ability to design and articulate AIled solutions that balance innovation, security, governance, and commercial viability.  
  • Strong understanding of data, identity, security, and compliance considerations in AI solutions.  
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex AI concepts clearly.  
  • Commercial awareness and experience supporting opportunity qualification and solution shaping.

As a Senior Consultant in our AI Business Solutions practice, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our customers’ businesses by delivering innovative, secure, and scalable Modern Workplace solutions.

This role has evolved to encompass the intersection of Productivity, Security, AI, Change, positioning you as a strategic advisor. You will guide customers in leveraging platforms such as Copilot, Power Platform, and Security to drive transformation, enhance governance, and maximise business value.

What You’ll Do:

Advanced Technical Delivery

  • Lead the design and implementation of complex Modern Workplace, Security, and AI-driven solutions.
  • Ensure alignment with Zero Trust principles, governance frameworks, and best practices.

Solution Design & Architecture

  • Lead ideation and architecture across: Copilot, Power Platform, 365 ecosystem.
  • Translate business requirements into secure, scalable, and AI-enabled solution architectures.

Security, Compliance & Governance

What We’re Looking For:

As a Data Architect, you will be responsible for defining, designing, and governing scalable, secure, and high-performing data platforms within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, with a strong focus on Microsoft Fabric.

You will play a strategic role in shaping end-to-end data architecture, ensuring alignment to business objectives, and enabling data-driven decision-making. This includes establishing Lakehouse architectures (Medallion), enforcing data governance and security frameworks, and leading customer engagements and workshops to deliver impactful, business-aligned data solutions.

What You’ll Do:

  • Data Architecture & Solution Design
    • Design and own end-to-end data architectures leveraging Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, and Data Lake.
    • Define and implement Medallion (Bronze, Silver, Gold) lakehouse architectures to support scalable analytics.
    • Apply well-architected frameworks and best practices to ensure robust, secure, and cost-effective solutions.

We are looking for a Data Pre-Sales Architect to join our pre-sales team. This role will focus on working closely with customers to help them plan their data platform strategy, modernization, and migration to cloud-based solutions.

On a day-to-day basis, you will support technical pre-sales activities, respond to RFPs, assist with proposals, and work with sales and marketing to create new data consultancy offerings. You will also contribute to webinars, workshops, and customer events by presenting modern data solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with cloud data services, modern data platforms, and data integration technologies. Core technologies include Azure Data Services such as Synapse Analytics, Data Lake, Data Factory, Databricks, and Power BI. Knowledge of data modernization, analytics, and governance is an advantage.

What You’ll Do:

  • Participate in pre-sales activities with customers, internal teams, and technology partners to help secure new business.
  • Provide data-focused support for sales opportunities, including solution design, estimating, and strategy.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Deliver accurate and timely responses to RFPs and proposals, including technical design and costing.
